What is CaptureMe3D
Our 3D photo booth is about 10 feet in diameter and a little over 7 feet tall. The booth has 89 computer-synchronized cameras, all precision mounted on 17 metal columns. Each camera is positioned to capture a full 360 degree view. No need to spin around or move, CaptureMe3D can will get every angle of you.
In reality, it only takes about a quarter of a second for the cameras and scanners to gather all the information needed for a great scan. In a few minutes CaptureMe3D can capture, process and assemble all of the data needed for a 3D image you can be proud to share with anyone you choose.
During a session, you will review and approve the scanned image and select the desired height for each finished print. You will not only receive a rotating 3D preview image on CaptureMe3D’s viewing screen, you will receive the image in downloadable GIF to your computer or mobile device, all in approximately 10-15 minutes. Once uploaded, a preview image can then be shared by email or social media however you’d like.
Once the above steps are complete, the 3D information file is uploaded to the cloud. All files are encrypted so information is 100% safe. Your 3D print file is sent to a high tech, industrial 3D print company where each CaptureMe3D print is manufactured. Prints are constructed layer by layer, in full HD color, a process that takes 6-10 hours to complete. Each layer is gypsum and polymer resin, and is only 1⁄16 inch thick. There are no molds involved, each 3D print is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art.
There are currently 3 types of media available for a 3D Action Figure: Sandstone, Resin and Nylon (coming soon).
